The Julie Ruin released the debut album Run Fast in September 2013 on TJR Records and was distributed by Dischord Direct. 

The band members are Kathleen Hanna, Kathi Wilcox, Sara Landeau, Kenny Mellman and Carmine Covelli. Additional percussion by Fredo Ortiz. 

Album was mostly mixed by Eli Cruz with these exceptions: "Just My Kind" mixed by James Murphy. "Oh Come On" and "Goodnight Goodbye" mixed by Kathleen Hanna.
